Wilma Dripper Systems Atami

Product Description
Wilma is a joint collaboration between Atami and Nutriculture and is as simple to use as a pot, but with less maintenance thanks to the timer which automates feeding.
The pots are filled with your chosen growing medium, you set the timer to the desired feeding duration and frequency, and a pump delivers nutrient solution through the drippers into the pots. Perfect if you want the familiarity of pots and the increased yields produced by plants fed little and often.
Wilma drip irrigation systems are designed to provide high yields in as simple a way as possible.
Available in a range of sizes to suit the modern grower, the Wilma has been developed to include:
- Improved spacing between pots- A handy nutrient mixing tap
- Easier access to the reservoir
Why yields are bigger when using a Wilma
- The Wilma is like a pot with a personal assistant!
- The Wilma feeds the plants little and often, which provides the plants with more water and nutrients than if they were hand-watered
- When watering once per day you can't give a plant all the water and nutrients it needs for optimum growth because you would waterlog the medium and starve the plant of oxygen
- In a Wilma the plants are provided with water and nutrients little and often, so they are able to take up more water and nutrient and they are never over or underfed or watered, so the Wilma produces bigger yields compared with pots.
- Because of the frequent watering clay pebbles can be used which allow much more air around the roots than any other growing medium and better access to oxygen = bigger yields.
- Plants benefit from the accurate feeding of active hydroponics and you benefit from the simplicity and flexibility of growing in pots.
- The ideal step up from a pot.

Required but NOT included: Timer switch Please note: Our grow systems are designed to provide years of trouble free use, having undergone rigorous testing and development. However, at One Stop Grow Shop, we believe that it's good practice to take a few simple precautions that will reduce the risk of leakages to practically zero. For complete peace of mind, secure pipework that's joined onto barbed fittings using jubilee clips or cable ties, and place run-off trays / floor secure sheeting underneath the system & reservoir. It's much better to be safe than sorry. How the Wilma System Works: The Wilma 9 x 18 Litre Pot Dripper System is a complete hydroponic dripper system for growing 9 large sized plants. Nutrient solution is held in a reservoir which is also the base of the system. A water pump is used to pump the nutrient solution from the reservoir, through the drip-lines and out through drippers inserted into each of the 9 pots which sit on a collection tray on top of the reservoir. The nutrient solution then returns to the reservoir ready to be used again. Using the Wilma System The Wilma 9 x 18 Litre Pot Dripper System is a great growing system for new and seasoned growers alike. It is ideal for making the most of a small-medium size growing environment such as a 1.2m, 1.5m or 2.0m square tent. The whole system can be put together in minutes. Simply place the Reservoir in the correct location in your grow-room, put the Top Trays on top of the Reservoir and then place the pots onto it. Install the pump and distribution piping. Fill the pots with your substrate (soil, coco, rockwool, clay pebbles). Run drip-lines from the piping to each pot and connect the correct dripper for the substrate you are using (use the flood-drippers for clay pebbles, and use the arrow-drippers for substrates with greater water retention - soil, coco, rockwool). Fill the Reservoir with 140 litres of water and mix in your nutrients, boosters and additives according to your feeding schedule. Transplant your plants into the pots and insert the drippers into the substrate in each pot close to each plant. Most growers use a 24Hr timer such as the Grasslin time-switch to switch the water-pump on and off and thereby control the feeding times. Set your programmed time-switch to the correct time, plug it into a mains outlet and switch on. Plug the water-pump into the timer. The pump will now water your plants according to the programme you have set on the timer. Most segmental timers have a minimum 15-minute on-period. For small plants in clay pebbles start with 2 or 3 15-minute feeds per day spread out through the lights-on period. For small plants in more water-retentive mediums start with 1 or 2 15-minute feeds per day. For both types of mediums, the number of feeds per day will usually need to be increased as your plants grow larger. If you're using soil, we recommend buying a 7-day timer, to allow you to feed less regulalrly. You'll find the timers you need for the job in the Irrigation Timers section. Dimensions: 115cm x 115cm x 20cm Reservoir: 150 litres
